4. Turn data into a map in Excel
Using Power Map allows you to create interactive data visualisation maps. This enables you to take rows of data and make them appear in the form of a 3D interactive map. Data can be filtered with three different filters: List, Range, or Advanced.
5. Edit and convert to PDF
Once you’ve finished the editing process you can convert your document, spreadsheet, publication or presentation into PDF format. The Save as PDF feature is integrated into the apps themselves. You can also edit PDFs by converting them into Word documents, thereby avoiding any issues associated with pasting content from a PDF into Word for editing.
6. Work offline
With OneDrive synced to your device it’s easy to work on files offline. Once you have reconnected to the Internet, the new versions you have worked on are uploaded automatically to storage. These new versions will then be sent to other connected devices.
7. Work at any time or place from any device
Office 365 comes with Office Web Apps that allow you to work on cloud files anywhere you are connected to the Web as long as you have an up-to-date browser. This can be done even without installing Office software on your computer. You can also use these apps on your tablet or smartphone if desired once you have downloaded them to your device.
8. Team workflow organisation with Office 365 Planner
This new feature allows you to plan workflows and enhance collaboration. You can layout plans, assign tasks, share files, and establish timelines and add status updates. All of this is performed via email notifications and visual dashboards.
9. Automatically de-cluttering email inbox
The clutter feature provided by Microsoft uses your mailbox rules for the purpose of automatically organising your email in such a way that the highest priority message are the ones available for you to view first. The Clutter folder holds email that is more suitable for viewing at a later time.
10. Use your mouse icon as a laser pointer
If you forget your laser pointer there is no reason to worry, you can use your mouse icon for a presentation instead. Just enter into presentation mode and then hold Ctrl and the Left-Click mouse button and your mouse cursor will be replaced by a laser pointer.
